The company's areas of focus are Artist Management, Hard Rock Radio Promotion, Publicity Services, and Rock Video Promotion. Partners John Bambino and Jason Rudolph bring a combined total of more than 20 years of artist development experience to their valued clients. John Bambino started as a part time worker at New York City's McGathy Promotions in 1994. He left the company in 2001 with the title Director of Artist Development, having overseen both the Hard Rock ("Edge") and College Alternative ("Alternative Division") departments. Bambino's successes at McGathy include Sevendust, System of a Down, Limp Bizkit and Static-X, to name a very few. Bambino's next post was Northeast Regional Promotion Director for Sanctuary Records. After a successful run at Sanctuary working with such artists as Rollins Band, COC, Megadeth and Widespread Panic, Bambino switched gears and signed on with EMI Music Publishing as head of East Coast Hard Rock A&R. After a short time, Bambino was unexpectedly laid off and, instead of searching for another job, decided to have a go on his own and began managing North Carolina-based progressive post-hardcore band Codeseven. Jason Rudolph got his start at NYC's now defunct Energy Records (Pro-Pain, Bile). After a short 8-month run at the label, he was hired away to McGathy Promotions by his future partner, John Bambino, handling Artist Development, and Metal/Hard Rock Radio Promotion. After 3 years working alongside Bambino, Rudolph was again hired away, this time by Chicago independent record label Victory Records as Director of Marketing and Promotion. During his time at Victory Records, Rudolph was a key force behind the promotion and marketing campaigns of notable artists such as Thursday, Snapcase, Taking Back Sunday and Atreyu. Rudolph also worked in the A&R capacity, bringing bands such as Darkest Hour, Count The Stars and Martyr AD to the label. In the summer of 2002, Rudolph began to feel the call of artist management and his old partner Bambino. In the fall of 2002, Rudolph left Victory Records and Heavy Hitter, Inc was formed. Heavy Hitter's Hard Rock Radio Promotion division has experienced incredible success since its inception. The company deals with over 500 commercial, college, internet, satellite and community radio stations and boasts a client base that includes every major and most independent record labels.
